Great Doodle Assignment

Doodling is so much fun! It’s super easy, but yet when you’re all done it looks so cool. I feel like filling the page with tons of different designs really made it stand out. But if I were to start over, I would probably find some different, cooler designs to make the picture more creative. It was a little tricky to find out how and what to start drawing, but once you started on the picture it was really easy to go on from there. During the drawing I had fun creating and learning new designs.

Color wheel painting

This painting was very challenging, mixing and fading the colors was a very, very slow and hard process for me. It was definitely not my favorite! I tried lots of different ways of painting, and mixing the colors, but none of them seemed to work out like I wanted. The different shades didn't turn out like I wanted either, I would have liked them to be a lot more distinct. It took really long, cause I took my time, but I think it turned out okay. This project helped embed the color wheel and all the primary colors you have to mix to get other colors that are much needed in painting!

1-pt Perspective hallway

This peice was really fun to draw! It was a little challenging for me when it came to picking out what to put in the hallway and being creative about it, but other than that, it was fairly easy. I think adding a lot of colors to the hallway really helped on the overall appearance. I learned a lot while drawing this picture, mostly all we had to do was make everything go back to the vanishing point! It surprised me that just doing that little thing can make the whole picture come alive, and look very real. If I could do it over again, I would change some of the colors I used, a couple of them didn't really match that well.
